MRB is a fantastic place to learn to fly – it has an exceptionally long and wide runway, is outside the Washington D.C. Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and offers Class Delta air traffic control services among numerous other airport services offering peace of mind for new aviators.*
This region provides an exceptional training environment with many different types of airspace, numerous airports just a short distance away, and beautiful natural features, scenery and historical landmarks to fly over. Learn to fly with confidence in special-security airspace, in low and high-volume airport environments, interact with air traffic control and share the airspace with “heavies”. If you can fly here – you can fly anywhere!
We offer our local MRB-based fleet of two Cessna 172N Skyhawk aircraft for hourly rental and online scheduling for our flight students.
In partnership with MRB Aviation, Bravo’s training fleet is meticulously maintained and we have recently added newly upholstered interiors. We also hope to soon further upgrade the aircraft with additional 21st-century features such as improved avionics, GPS, ADS-B and Nav/Com radios.
You will find our ground and flight instructors to be friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Ask about Bravo Aviation’s evening Ground School classes for those with busy schedules.
